Bata Osha (ବାଟ ଓଷା) – A Devotional Fasting for Protection & Well-being

🌿 A sacred Odia ritual seeking divine blessings for family, children & safe journeys 🙏

Bata Osha is a traditional and spiritually significant observance in Odisha, celebrated by married women and mothers. The word “Bata” means road or path, and “Osha” refers to vrata or fast. This osha is observed with great devotion and purity, typically on the Dwadasi Tithi (12th lunar day) of the Margasira month, usually falling in December.
